Early Japanese bronze covered hand warmer,"Japanese hand warmer" this 19th century Japanese bronze hand warmer has a very heavy brass handle with a hand pierce carved cover. The workmanship in this"hand warmer" is superb. There are some small surface use marks here and there but it is in great condition. The top of this wonderful Japanese hand warmer is all hand cut which must have take for ever to do. This antique piece measures 5 and one half inches high, nine inches across with a 7 and one quarter inch by 2 and one half inch cover.

"Ian Kats" Fourre Tout hand forged Iron Pedestal. This modern sculpture pedestal measures 16 inches high and the top is 10 and one half inches in diameter and the base measures 6 inches in diameter. This modern sculpture is one of a kind and sculpted by a very talented modern artist by the name of Ian Kats who no lives in Portland Oregon. This piece would make a great addition to a garden or patio. This antique pedestal was crafted by Ian Kats from a VW wheel and an antique saw blade all hand hammered and forged, Portland, Oregon.

M.A. Painting, Kent State University. M.F.A. Sculpture, Syracuse University. Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Skowhegan, ME. Apprentice Stone Carver, Johnston Monument Works, Newburgh, NY. Rare pari of antique French bronze fawns or kids. This charming pair of "French bronze fawns" or kids were brought back from France over twenty five years ago and date from the 19th century. They are the quality of French sculptors Isadore Jules Bonheur, Rosa Bonheur, Bayre, Mene, Fratin, Moigniez and Clodion. They are not signed as far as we can see, nor can we find a foundry mark. These are truly rare works of art by a master sculptor and cast by a top foundry. Excellent original condition with beautiful brown patina. Life size.
